Despite its robust design and higher fit range, the Ergo Lite 2 Tall remains exceptionally easy to live with. The foldable frame, swing-away detachable footrests, and compact footprint make storage, car loading, and tight-space maneuvering simple for users and caregivers alike.
General Safety Rules
- Always engage the brakes before transfers, parking on slopes, or when the chair is stationary.
- Use seatbelts and tie-downs when the chair is used as a vehicle seat; follow ISO 7176-19 transport guidance.
- Keep hands clear of moving parts (wheels, footrests, brakes) during transfers and folding.
- Avoid steep or uneven terrain beyond your ability; descend slopes slowly and straight with brakes under control.
- Please do not stand on footrests; swing them away during transfers.
- Check quick-release mechanisms (if equipped) and ensure wheels/footrests are securely latched before use.
- Perform routine maintenance, including checking tire pressure (if pneumatic), fasteners, bearings, brakes, and upholstery cleanliness.
