A receiver inside the passenger compartment receives the infrared signals sent by the steering wheel controller and communicates with the original vehicle electronics. With three different colored buttons – yellow for the left indicator and two red ones for the horn and emergency lights – the driver can quickly identify the functions without getting distracted.

The Fadiel Italiana control unit is also approved for remote operation, allowing left-handed prosthesis carriers to drive vehicles with manual gearboxes and left-hand drive or cars with manual gearboxes and right-hand drive with lower right upper limb.
