From Engineering Challenge to the G24 NoRamp®
A major part of Ray Gilani's accessibility engineering journey has been the development of wheelchair-accessible vehicle solutions.The idea that eventually led to the G24 NoRamp® began with a practical problem: conventional wheelchair ramps can require significant space behind a vehicle and may not always be convenient in everyday parking environments.
Ray and his engineering team in Australia worked on an alternative vehicle-access concept that integrates the access mechanism into the vehicle rather than relying on a conventional external ramp.
The resulting G24 NoRamp® system became one of Gilani's signature wheelchair-accessible vehicle technologies and is now offered through Gilani Mobility in the UAE.

Building on the engineering and mobility experience developed through Gilani Engineering in Australia, Gilani Mobility established its UAE operations in Dubai in 2022.
The company now provides mobility and accessibility solutions for individuals, families, healthcare providers, businesses and government organisations across the UAE and wider GCC.
